T t his epic, sign-posted route skirts Ireland’s major geographical areas of West Cork, Killarney (National Park) and Dingle Peninsula taking travelers through traditional rural outposts where Irish Gaelic is still spoken, tweeds are woven on wooden looms, the fish on the menu is from the boat tied up at the pier, fiddlers play sessions in the pubs at night, and—as the locals say—the “craic” is mighty (meaning the social banter is fun).
Join this trip with long time Ciclismo Classico Guide Henrick Murphy , our resident native Irishman, for the cycling trip of a lifetime. Beyond the stunning greenery and cycling, we’ll step into Henrick’s heart-homeland and learn the inside scoop; everything from Gaelic sports demonstrations! We’ll take in a beer tasting in Dingle, seashore foraging in West Cork, and night sea kayaking at Lough Hyne where we will see the incredible bioluminescence!
